Description:

This module enables students to engage in rigorous studio practice investigations revisiting and further developing artistic ideas of 20th and 21st century behind the Body in Performance. Focus of this module is a student-led research process providing students the opportunity of producing a critical creative research.  The emphasis here is on process and reflection, rather than product.  The student-led research process provides students with the opportunity to further examine, experiment with, and reflect on their body practices by producing a rigorous creative research.  Students engage in intensive studio based research, and share findings on a regular basis as a way of developing their skills in articulating and disseminating their findings.

This module takes place in the form of an immersive artistic residence in France at the Performing Arts Forum for 2 weeks.
