Joana works as a vet and a fine artist (mostly in the field of live art and performance art). Joana is a UoL alumni and she studied BA Fine Arts. For her MA/MFA:CLA she has received the College of Arts scholarship from the University of Lincoln. Joana’s work is a highly interesting amalgamation of visual art and the body in performance. She lives in Market Rasen (not so far from Lincoln) and has her own family. Here is a small website:

Chai VivanVivan Chai (Malaysia), BA in Dance
Vivan’s background is in traditional forms of contemporary dance theatre, but in the last few months she has been challenging the medium and she has some interesting fusion between far-eastern thinking and highly physical bodies. For her studies to the MA/MFA:CLA Vivan has received the Yayasan Sime Darby Scholarship. In case you want to work with eastern dances, Vivan is going to be our contact. Verena comes from improv and contact improv background but works across media (photos, films, outdoor performances etc) and styles. Verena is a recipient of several amazing artistic residencies and in the past she’s also worked with artists such as Willi Dorner. Davide comes from Dance background but currently works in the field of live art and performance art. He has worked with artists such as Tino Seghal and others and he is making his own work and teaches workshops in Berlin where he currently lives. YEAR 2013-14

Fenia Kotsopoulou (BA Italian Literature, BA in Dance)
Fenia Kotsopoulou is a performer/choreographer presents interactive performances as solo performer or in collaboration with musicians and artists from other fields. Her artistic research is based on movement analysis, elaboration and its experimental fusion with contemporary dance. Since January 2010 she collaborates with Cell63 artgallery with the project Alice in Anima(L)and, a sequel of performances inspired by the gallery exhibitions. She also works together with the artist Enrico Petracci as a model and performer.

Vaya Kapousidou (BA in Counselling, MA in Child Counselling, BA in Dance)
Vaya is a dancer/live art performer whose work focuses on psychoanalytic perspectives of performance and societal roles/gender and transgression. She is currently working both as a Children’s Counsellor and a Live Artists, presenting her work in Greece and the UK.

Irene Atmatzidis (BA in Electric Engineering, BA in Dance)
Irene studies Electric Engineering and her research interests deal with technology and advanced performance studies fusing highly interactive computational platforms and improvisation. She is also teaching Yoga workshops and contact improvisation.

Katerina Giannoula (BA in English Literature)
Katerina Giannoula is a Lecturer in English as a Foreign Language and a performer fusing Live Art, singing and dancing. Her work is dealing with analytical studies of conceptual philosophy and ecology.

Colleen Bartley (BA in Dance and Pedagogics)
Colleen is interested in Contact Improvisation and has been very active in the C.I. scene in the UK. She also works with visual media and dance videos and teaches workshops of C.I. and Performance.
