The programme is developed with an awareness of the need for Live Art development. The MA/MFA:CLA will particularly appeal to those who want experience as professional makers on an independent or collaborative basis, in addition to being well placed for practice-as-research doctoral studies. Graduates will be well placed to work as Live Art/ Performance Artists, Choreographers, Fine Artists or pursuing a career in academia. For those interested, the program may serve to further engage in an academic career and prepare a PhD. For some countries (like US), the MA/MFA is a terminal degree, meaning that it is considered to be the highest degree in its field.
